Atlin Community Engagement
Information and Survey links
What it is:
This engagement opportunity is a way for all residents of Atlin to share thoughts, suggestions, ideas, concerns and possible solutions with Atlin CID (and with each other) regarding topics of interest and importance. Surveys and in-person engagement events planned.
Every resident of the community is highly encouraged to participate.
This will help Atlin CID to understand the views of the entire Atlin community, to advocate, and to share this information with our governments. It may also help to inform possible options that Atlin could consider in future community planning.
What it is not:
This is NOT a decision-making tool, a political forum, or a place for ongoing debate and discussion. Future phases of community planning may be considered which could include these discussions and decisions, but not at this time.

What next:
All survey and engagement information will be compiled to give an overall understanding of what issues and topics are of particular concern, and what the responding residents want to say on the topic. Results will be utilized by Atlin CID to advocate for the community. No individual responses will be shared back with the community, but the combined summarized results of all responses will be shared on each topic. A final summary will be prepared at the end of the engagement period and will be available for residents to review. Future phases may be considered.
Who can participate:
Every resident of Atlin can participate.
Every resident includes each member of a household in Atlin.
Every resident includes homeowners & renters, those who live on or off reserve, those who live close to town, the subdivisions or in more distant parts of the greater Atlin area.
Every resident includes those who live in shared or single-family homes, cabins, tiny homes, mobile homes, mansions or shacks.
Every resident includes residents who live in Atlin year-round and those who live here part time.
We all have opinions and we all feel strongly about our community. We all have this opportunity to share and have our ideas considered.
This does NOT include people who do not live in Atlin. If you are here temporarily, as a visitor or for a short time for work, we are happy you’re here, but you are not a resident.
You must be a resident to participate, which is why you will be asked to tell us your name and where you live– your physical address (not your mailing address). We live here too, so we know this seems like an easy ask but isn’t always clear. You can describe your address in any way that makes the most sense: your assigned emergency address, your Lot #, a descriptor, or if needed, who lived there before. This will be verified if needed, so your voice and opinions can be included in the results. Your name and address will not be shared and will not be associated with compiled results.
